Most tools process input in your browser. Some features communicate with our server and external services as described below. Browser-only processing does not apply to every feature.
Tool input
Hours and minutes conversions and calculations between two times run locally. Locally understood input is not sent to OpenRouter. Avoid including names, confidential information or personal information unnecessary for the calculation.
AI interpretation
When AI is enabled, a duration phrase that cannot be understood locally is sent to our server and then to the configured AI provider: OpenRouter and its selected model provider, or the MAAD server at maad.thesocialclinic.biz using Qwen, after you press Convert. A request is not sent for each keystroke. We do not attach your name, email or visitor IP address to the model request. Any information you include in the phrase itself is included in that request.
Model providers have different processing and retention practices, and processing may occur outside your country. Read the OpenRouter privacy policy and the relevant provider policy. We do not guarantee that all providers refrain from retaining input.
AI caching and request logs
Interpretations are cached on our server for up to one day to reduce repeated requests. A private administrator log keeps the latest 100 requests for up to 30 days, including the phrase, model, result or error, timestamp, response time and token usage when available. This log does not contain API keys or visitor IP addresses.
An HMAC-derived identifier based on the visitor IP address is used for hourly rate limits, alongside a daily site request counter. Hosting and security logs may contain technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and requests; these are separate from the tool log.
Calendar services
Hijri/Gregorian tools may send the entered date through our server to an external calendar service. Some tools include a local fallback when that service is unavailable.
Local storage, cookies and analytics
Appearance preferences, timetables and some date-conversion results may be saved in Local Storage on your device and can be cleared in browser settings. Google Tag Manager manages site tags; analytics or advertising data and cookies depend on the tags enabled. See the cookie policy for the distinction between browser storage and server-side AI caches and logs.
Contact and data requests
For questions or to request deletion of an identifiable AI request log, use our contact page and provide the phrase and approximate request time without adding unnecessary sensitive information. AI logs are not linked to visitor accounts or names, so we may need enough information to locate and verify a request. Do not send your API key.
