How to use the random math question generator
Choose one operation or mixed practice, select a difficulty and enter between 1 and 50 questions. Generate a set, type your answers, then check your score. Show the answer key when you need help. Generating another set clears your previous answers.
Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Easy addition and subtraction use numbers up to 10; medium uses up to 50 and hard up to 100. Multiplication factors and division quotients use 1–5, 1–12 or 1–20 respectively. Division dividends can therefore exceed the addition range. Start with a single skill, then switch to mixed operations. These levels describe number ranges rather than an official school curriculum.
Create a printable math worksheet
Print the current questions for homework, a classroom warm-up or a short mental-math session. The worksheet leaves blank spaces for answers and places the answer key on a separate page. To keep the solutions private, print only the question pages. Choose Save as PDF to download using your browser.
Build a short practice routine
Try ten questions without a time limit first. Review mistakes before generating another set, and increase the difficulty when you can explain how you reached each answer. For example, 24 ÷ 6 = 4 because 6 × 4 = 24. A score is a practice aid, not a formal assessment. Your typed answers are not sent to a server by this tool.
